The Executive Director is directly responsible for the maintenance of the facilities, security and also has oversight responsibility for the agency furnishings and equipment.

  1. Clients and visitors shall obtain admission to the building via the call system located to the left of the building’s main entrance. Building is a controlled access facility and any and all non-staff individuals are required to be buzzed into the facility or in the case of first time entrance into the building shall be let in physically by staff and personally escorted upstairs to agency offices. Agency offices are secured by fingerprinted id lock and no one is permitted into the offices without their identification being verified.
  2. Staff is issued the door code for the building’s front door access which is pre-assigned to the agency and is not to be shared with anyone outside the agency. Violation of this policy can and will be considered grounds for termination.
  3. Clients and visitors are to be escorted by agency or program staff anytime they are not in session or in the approved waiting room.
  4. Restrooms are for employees, clients and authorized guests only, and are not to be made available to persons walking in off the street.
  5. Purses or other valuables should never be left unattended and the agency cannot be held responsible for lost or stolen articles.
  6. Files are not to be left unattended in any unsecured location where unauthorized individuals could gain access to confidential information
  7. No information or items with client identifiable data is to be openly visible to unauthorized individuals
  8. All unused offices or visit rooms shall be kept locked.
  9. Law enforcement personnel should be accessed at employee discretion for hostile or threatening situations by dialing “911”
  10. Any agency or program disturbance will be reported to a supervisor and Executive Director
  11. All agency computers are to be fully shut down at the end of the work day. Please do not leave a computer unattended. Continued abuse will result in loss of computer privileges.
