Prohibited Activities or Conduct

The following conduct or behaviors are specifically prohibited.  Violation of any of the standards and rules of the agency are grounds for disciplinary action or termination of employment. The following conduct or behaviors are specifically prohibited:

  1. Borrowing or loaning money, property or service to or from clients, or acceptance or offering of IOUs with clients
  2. Hiring of clients to perform any jobs or service for you or any agency or group you represent.
  3. Purchasing anything (property or service) from clients
  4. Any form of gambling, betting or wagering with clients
  5. Socializing, dating or accepting invitations to social activities with clients
  6. Having any intimate or sexual contact with any client
  7. Entertaining clients in any way other than that as part of an approved treatment plan using acceptable practices that are known to their supervisor and Executive Director
  8. Outside employment except as approved in writing and in advance by Executive Director
  9. The use of alcohol or any illicit drugs during working hours – Agency may at any time randomly require UA from any employee. Any refusal by employee may result in termination.
  10. Smoking or the use of all tobacco products is strictly prohibited while in the capacity of performing visitation services. (Please See Smoking Policy for Clarification)
