Role of the Agency Staff Director

  • Primary contact for CA social workers.
  • Provides ongoing supervision at minimum every two weeks with support from the PCV Team Leads.
  • Ensures employees meet all training requirements to begin employment and as they continue with the agency.
  • Reviews and approves all visit reports, incident reports, and other documentation before submission to CA.
  • Maintains all reports in agency file.
  • Immediately addresses Visit Supervisor’s performance with support from the PCV Team Leads.

Role of the PCV Team Lead

  • Provides constant supervision of all PCV staff who deliver visit services under the current contract with a DCYF/CA social worker.
  • Responsible for quality assurance and the satisfaction of birth and foster families with the delivery of PCV services.
  • Supervision includes:
    • dropping in on visits,
    • observing visit supervisors in action, and
    • reinforcing the timely submission of all reports,
    • maintaining safety and proper supervision during visits, and
    • maintaining professional boundaries and the confidentiality of JHV clients.
