Laying-off employees will be the responsibility of the Executive Director. All efforts will be made to retain employees when possible. Attention will be given to maintain Affirmative Action profile. An exit interview shall be conducted and documented.

Dismissal: In all cases of employment dismissal, an exit interview shall be conducted by the Executive Director. Written notice indicating why the employee is being dismissed is required.

Resignation: When an employee resigns his or her position, a letter of resignation shall be presented to the Executive Director and placed in the employee’s personnel file. When possible, the employee should give two weeks’ notice prior to resignation.

Abandonment: If an employee makes no contact for three consecutive working days, without prior notice, the employee is considered to have abandoned the position. The Executive Director shall provide written documentation.
