OUR MISSION

Our mission is to strengthen the familial bonds between children and their non-custodial parents, whether placed in the foster care system or involved in custody disputes in the family law courts of Washington State. Every child has the right to a relationship with their non-custodial parent if circumstances allow. With an unbiased approach, we advocate for building stronger family ties, the independence of reunited families, and better futures – one child at a time.

PARENT-CHILD VISITATION

Joining Hands Visitation (JHV) is a child welfare agency dedicated to providing parent-child visitation (PCV) services to children in the foster care system of Washington State and those involved in custody disputes due to divorce, separation, domestic violence, or other family law matters.

LICENSED GOVERNMENT CONTRACTOR

Joining Hands Visitation is a licensed government contractor for the Children’s Administration of the Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF) of Washington State. Since 2020, JHV has worked closely with the family court system, receiving referrals for private visitation from judges, commissioners, and attorneys. Our visitation services are available to all community members in our service areas.

We offer a full range of visitation services, including Supervised or Monitored Visitation, Supervised Exchange, Transportation Only, and Video Visitation.

This program leverages the 24:7 Dad® curriculum, an evidence-based fatherhood program developed by the National Fatherhood Initiative, that teaches the five characteristics of a 24:7 Dad.
